Campaign breif
A few weeks ago we were given a task to help out a local charity shop by trying to get better donations for them. we went down to find out what things they needed people to donate so we could make posters for them telling people what the charity shops need to be donated. then we looked at different types of campaigns and did some research on them. Also one of our teachers showed us a video called Mary queen of shops witch showed a woman going to different charity shops and helping them with volunteers. After that we went to Browick Road infant school to show them two performances and do some workshops with them we then wrote letters to our chosen charity shops telling them what we had done and what had gone wrong and now we are editing our videos.

Dear RSPCA,
I am writing to inform you of the progress that we (the Wymondham High Creative and Media Students) have made for so far.
Since meeting with you we have been working extremely hard to raise awareness for the RSPCA charity around the school. So far we have made posters and leaflets which we have placed around school. Since you are an animal charity we decided to put a picture of a dog the posters and leaflets.
We have also raised awareness by doing a workshop and two performances at
Browick Roadinfant school to get them to understand about the purpose of Charity shops, charity and how to donate. Many of the year 2’s said that they would try to donate more in the next few weeks before Christmas so I hope that you get donations from them or more of them visiting your shop.

Even though we tried our hardest the campaign is not going as well as we thought it would so we don’t have as many donations for you as we would have liked but we still managed to raise awareness about the RSPCA, donating and your shop.
We have also filmed a T.V advert which we will shown through out forms in the school after Christmas.
Thank you very much for allowing us to work with you to make more money for local animals.
Yours Faithfully

Be able to prepare a campain
To persuade our target audience to take notice of our campain we made posters and leaflets with information on how to donate to the charity which you can see on one of my earlier posts. We also made a T.V advert to raise awarness for our chosen charity which will be shown in forms around the shcool after christmas. We also tried to target younger people by going to Browick Road infant school and doing two performances and a workshop about sharing, charity and donating.
Be able to moniter the preparation and conduct of a campain
We didnt succeed in getting any donations for the our charity so we failed in that area but we did succeed in raising awarness for the charity shop and about how little donations they get that arent junk.I do think we could have improved our posters asking people to donate by put more information on it about the charity and explain how they would be helping the charity.
Our areas for improvment would be letting more people know about our campain and why we were doing it we could have used our posters and T.V ad to do this.We could have also done an assembly or sent a letter out to tell people what we needed.
To alter my intentions to achieve my aim I will need to widend the publicity for the campain by possibly produsing a new poster and leaflet with more information and mabye targeting more people mabte outside of school to try and gain donations.
Through out the project I learnt alot and now the project is coming to a close I can look back and reflect on what i have learnt. At the start of the diploma I didnt know much about campains or blogs or charity shops but the time I have been doing my diploma I have learnt alot like about how to set up a blog and how to do different things on that then I learnt about charity shops an was surprised about how little amount of donations the charity shops get they can actually use.I also learnt about different ideas on how to advertise a product or campain.I havent just learnt this I have learnt much more than just this but if I typed all of what I learnt out I would be here for ages so I am not going to. In the future if I get a job in media I will be able to put the skills I have learnt to good use but even before the future I can use these skills in every day calsswork wich will help me through year 10.
Overall I have really enjoyed organising a campain even if it could get stress full at times. But I didnt enjoy it just for me I enjoyed it mostly because I knew that I was helping someone who needed it.

Browickroad visit
Today we went to Browick road to show them two performances and do some workshops with the year two's.A few people in the diploma didnt turn up because they were ill or couldnt make it so I had to stand in for bradely being red cross man. After the performances we split into our workshop groups and went into the the year twos classes and did the workshop which included us doing the counting game which meant the children had to count to ten in there heads then put there hand up when they thought ten seconds was up.Then Vicky and Ellie acted out a scene with two people who both wanted a toy they were doing the it the wrong way and statching then we got the year twos into groups and told them to act out the scene the right way. After they practised they performed it in front of there class mates. Then we got them to draw a picture on what they thought sharing means after that we left and went back to wymondham high school.

Our campain is not going very well because no has given us any donations and the main idea of the campain was to help the charity shops by getting as many donations as we could.I think the reason that no one brought anything to donate is because they dont think its cool and might get embarresd if they donate. So weare goingto put some new posters up in the staff room because i dont think teachers are really boverd about being cool.
